To the top – Reaching peak performance in sports and in life
„To the top“ is a brand new course primarily designed for teenagers who want to become professional athletes or simply reach peak performance in their sport. It’s also designed for those who want to learn how to get ahead in life and become successful.
If you think about what separates those who are happy and successful from those who are constantly struggling, I’m sure that many things will come to mind.
Some people believe that it is simply luck that determines how successful we become, that people are simply lucky or unlucky. Other people believe that success depends on innate talent or innate intelligence. Still others believe that a good education is the key to success. Finally, many people believe that success is directly tied to one’s financial status and without money you won’t find opportunities to create your success.
I’m here to show you that none of the above examples hold as much weight as we might believe. There is clearly another condition that contributes more to one’s outcome in life, and that is your mindset. Your mind can both limit you and it can also make you limitless. It is only when you learn about the power of the mind that you will realize how you create your reality, and that you have the power to change it. This should be common knowledge but unfortunately it is not. People still go around blaming everything and everybody else for their misfortunes.
My mission in life has been to educate people on the inherent power the have to create the life they want for themselves. I am particularly interested in educating young people in their teens so that they have a better chance of making their dreams come true throughout life.
This course is about using specific mindtools to reach your highest performance in your chosen sport, and in life in general. There is a formula behind success and that is what will be taught during this course.
Course content:
- What is your inner treasure and how can you use it in everyday life? Participants get the opportunity to get to discover their own strengths and talents and how to apply them more in their lives. When we know what we are capable of, we feel more confident and are also better equipped to find a suitable job where our strengths and talents can be best utilized.
- Goal setting and internal motivation. Participants learn to set SMARTER goals and activate internal motivation to achieve their goals.
- Planning and time management. Participants learn to make better use of their time by planning the day in advance and prioritizing the projects that are in line with their goals.
- How does the subconscious control us? Participants learn to let go of old ingrained habits that are holding them back and reprogram their subconscious with new constructive habits that are align with their goals.
- My focus, my reality.Participants learn how to change their experience of reality by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and focus.
- Getting rid of negative beliefs. Our beliefs, values and attitudes color our identity and how we experience ourselves and situations we find ourselves in. Negative beliefs can reduce ability and courage and cause various emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression. Participants learn to let go of negative beliefs that stand in their way of enjoying rich and happy life.
- How do I get into a positive state of mind?Participants learn various methods throughout the course to change how they feel and how they can put themselves and others into a positive state of mind.
- Seeing the opportunities in the challenges. Participants learn to use a growth mindset to face challenges in life and find the opportunities that are hidden there.
- Working through difficult emotions. In our society, we don´t talk much about emotions and the important a role they play in our lives. Participants get an insight into what emotions are, where they come from and the importance of listening to and not shutting down difficult emotions. Various methods will be used to reduce anxiety and increase well-being.
- Stepping out of your comfort zone.One of the most important things done during the course is to help the participants step outside and expand their own comfort zone.
- Your intuition and how to use it. Participants learn to listen to their intuition and how to use this inner power to an increasing extent that most people are unaware of.
- Standing up for yourself. Participants learn to deal with and protect themselves from the negativity of others with certain tools. Participants also learn to use NVC (non-violent communication) to deal with criticism from others and turn negativity into positivity.
- Creating meaningful relationships. How do I use communication skills and active listening to form new and constructive relationships? participants learn to use certain communication techniques to make new friends, strengthen friendships and get people on their good side.
