Workshops for teachers

Workshops and seminars offered to teachers

One of the most important roles of a teacher is to tap into students´ motivation to succeed in school. Using extrinsic motivation to achieve that goal can be both time- and energy-consuming. During the course, the difference between external and internal motivation will be explained and teachers will be given tools that they can use both in their own lives and in teaching to increase students’ intrinsic motivation. The teachers will learn how to use the 8 internal motivators to transform a boring and draining tasks into something nourishing and enjoyable.

Intrinsically motivated students do better in school, are less anxious and generally feel better than extrinsically motivated students. Learning how to intrinsically motivate students’ does not only save energy and time, but also makes teaching more rewarding and enjoyable for both students and teachers.

The course is divided into 6 workshops:

  1. The difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation (1 hour)
  2. My focus, my mindset, my reality (2 hours)

  4. Tapping into your and your students’ strengths (1-4 hours)
  5. How to turn naughty students into angels (2-4 hours)
